ASK provides trainings on legal and human rights issues with the objective of creating awareness of rights, building the capacity of different stakeholders as human rights defenders and empowering citizens on issues of rights, responsibilities and duties in defence of human rights.

Training programmes: These involve diverse participants — staff or group members of NGOs, government officials, students, lawyers, teachers, members of local elected bodies, members of community based organizations, local theatre activists and our own staff.

Methodology: A participatory approach is applied in the training courses.

Language: Usually in Bangla, although some training materials and aids are in English.

Trainers: ASK’s in-house trainers have law and human rights backgrounds and have skills and experience in conducting participatory training sessions.
