ASK is working to empower children, adolescents, and youth to challenge harmful social norms and practices. ASK implemented a project named SUFASEC at Satkhira. The project’s focus is to protect children from all kinds of sexual exploitation, especially online sexual exploitation of children, and foster a protective environment at the local level. In continuation of this, Safer Internet Day was celebrated at the Khejurdanga R.K. Secondary School. The students of this school organised rallies, discussions, and quiz competitions to celebrate the day. The rally was inaugurated by Fatima Tuz Zohara, Program officer of the Department of Women’s Affairs. Md Rokonuzzman, Project Manager of the Ain o Salish Kendra, delivered a keynote speech at the discussion and quiz competition program presided over by the Schoo’s headmaster, Md Habibur Rahman.
