										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) considered 27 human rights violation cases and collected information on these incidents. ASK has contacted the survivors and the family members of the victims of those human rights violation cases. Besides that, ASK has contacted the journalists, administrations, and local people to collect information regarding those incidents. ASK has sent 3 urgent communications to the respected authorities requesting them to take proper actions in the matters of medical negligence and the arrest of a person from his home late at night by the army. ASK contacted 14 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance. Moreover, ASK has contacted the family members of 12 victims of enforced disappearance and collected information regarding the children of the victims. In February 2026, 6 cases of ASK were on the court for hearing. ASK has contacted the survivors and the family members of the victims of those human rights violation cases. ASK has sent 2 urgent communications to the respected authority requesting for taking proper action in the matter of medical negligence and a man beaten to death in a drug rehabilitation center. There are 7 cases of ASK were in the cause list of the court for hearing. ASK contacted 18 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) continued to represent victims and legal aid seekers before the courts. During January 2026, on behalf of victims, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family disputes, violence against women and children and criminal offences. In these cases, ASK lawyers undertook necessary legal actions, including court appearances, hearings, follow-ups and examination of witnesses. During the reporting month, 2 new cases were filed on behalf of victims. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">During December 2025, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) actively monitored and documented human rights violations across the country, taking 27 cases into consideration. In the process of fact-finding, ASK maintained direct contact with survivors and the family members of the victims. Additional information was gathered through engagement with journalists, local administration officials and community members. As part of its intervention efforts, ASK sent one urgent communication to the concerned authorities, calling for immediate and appropriate action in a case involving alleged medical negligence. In parallel, ASK continued its legal advocacy work, with two cases listed for hearing before the Bangladesh Supreme Court during the month. ASK has contacted 17 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">In November 2025, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) contacted 15 survivors of torture and their family members to collect primary information for legal and advocacy support. During this period, ASK also gathered follow-up information on cases previously filed in court. In addition, ASK contacted the family members of 8 victims of enforced disappearance and collected relevant information regarding their children. ASK documented and assessed 20 incidents of human rights violations and collected detailed information related to these cases. As part of this process, ASK communicated with survivors, family members, journalists, local administrations and community members to verify facts and gather comprehensive data. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Through the EngageNow project, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) continued to represent victims and legal aid seekers before the courts. During this month, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family matters, violence against women and children and criminal offenses on behalf of the victims. In these cases, ASK lawyers undertook necessary legal actions, including court appearances, hearings, follow-up actions and examination of witnesses. During November 2025, a total of 236 cases were handled, including 205 family cases, 21 cases of violence against women and children and 10 criminal cases. Among these, 242 were family cases, 19 were related to violence against women and children, and 7 were criminal cases. ASK lawyers actively carried out necessary appearances, hearings, submissions, follow-ups, and witness examinations to ensure justice for victims. In addition, 2 new cases were taken up during the month.
