										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">In April 2026, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) continued to represent victims and legal aid seekers before the courts. During the reporting period, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family disputes, violence against women and children, criminal offences and other legal matters involving ASK clients. During the month, 3 new cases were filed on behalf of victims. A total of 188 cases were handled, of which 178 were family cases, 7 involved violence against women and children and 3 were criminal cases. During January 2026, on behalf of victims, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family disputes, violence against women and children and criminal offences. In these cases, ASK lawyers undertook necessary legal actions, including court appearances, hearings, follow-ups and examination of witnesses. During the reporting month, 2 new cases were filed on behalf of victims. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Through the EngageNow project, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) continued to represent victims and legal aid seekers before the courts. During this month, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family matters, violence against women and children and criminal offenses on behalf of the victims. In these cases, ASK lawyers undertook necessary legal actions, including court appearances, hearings, follow-up actions and examination of witnesses. During November 2025, a total of 236 cases were handled, including 205 family cases, 21 cases of violence against women and children and 10 criminal cases. This month, on behalf of the victims, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family matters, violence against women and children and criminal offences. In these cases, ASK lawyers took necessary steps, including appearances, hearings, follow-ups and examination of witnesses. During this month, 3 new cases were filed on behalf of victims. Among these, 242 were family cases, 19 were related to violence against women and children, and 7 were criminal cases. ASK lawyers actively carried out necessary appearances, hearings, submissions, follow-ups, and witness examinations to ensure justice for victims. In addition, 2 new cases were taken up during the month. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), through its Litigation Unit, conducted a total of 225 cases in court on behalf of victims and legal aid seekers. Among these, 21 were family cases, 9 were related to violence against women and children, and 1 was a criminal case. ASK lawyers actively carried out necessary appearances, hearings, submissions, follow-ups, and witness examinations to ensure justice for victims. In addition, 3 new cases were taken up during the month. In August 2025, 5 PIL (Public Interest Litigations) cases of ASK were in the cause list of High Court Division for hearing. The Lawyer of ASK has taken steps accordingly. Moreover, ASK filed 2 cases in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The initiative is part of “EngageNow”, a project implemented by ASK with support from the Embassy of Switzerland and Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Family cases: 259; Violence against women and children cases: 15; Criminal cases: 7. In these cases, ASK’s lawyers undertook necessary appearances, hearings, follow-ups, legal steps, and witness cross-examinations. In July 2025, 7 PIL (Public Interest Litigations) cases of ASK were in the cause list of the High Court Division for hearing. The Lawyer of ASK has taken steps accordingly. In June 2025, a total of 186 cases were scheduled for hearings, covering family disputes, violence against women and children, and criminal matters. Of these, 168 cases were related to family issues, 14 cases involved violence against women and children, and 4 were criminal cases. Throughout the month, ASK’s panel lawyers carried out necessary legal procedures, including court appearances, hearings, follow-ups, and witness examinations, to ensure justice for the victims and safeguard their legal rights. The 5 PIL( Public Interest Litigations) cases of ASK were in the cause list of High Court Division.
