Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) considered 27 human rights violation cases and collected information on these incidents. ASK has contacted the survivors and the family members of the victims of those human rights violation cases. Besides that, ASK has contacted the journalists, administrations, and local people to collect information regarding those incidents. ASK has sent 3 urgent communications to the respected authorities requesting them to take proper actions in the matters of medical negligence and the arrest of a person from his home late at night by the army. ASK contacted 14 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance. Moreover, ASK has contacted the family members of 12 victims of enforced disappearance and collected information regarding the children of the victims. In February 2026, 6 cases of ASK were on the court for hearing. The Lawyer from ASK has taken steps accordingly.

Fact-Finding in Mirpur, Dhaka: ASK conducted a fact-finding on an incident in which the army arrested a man from his house and framed him with an illegal weapon. Representatives from ASK visited the victim’s house and met the victim and his family members. Moreover, ASK met with and interviewed local police and army officials regarding this matter. Fact-Finding in Noakhali: ASK investigated the incident of a woman being raped in Hatia, Noakhali, for voting for her preferred candidate. Representatives from ASK travelled and met the victim after getting the news. Moreover, they have interviewed and collected information from the local police, hospital authorities and others. Fact-Finding on Human Rights Violations -December 2025

Fact Finding in Rajshahi: ASK conducted a fact finding and collected follow-up information in the matter of 16 Pahariya families at Mollapara in Rajshahi city amid fear of eviction from the land they had been living in for over five decades. The houses of five families from the Kol community in Babudaing village of Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district were demolished. After this incident, they took shelter in a bamboo grove. During the fact finding into the incident, representatives from ASK spoke to members of the victim’s families. Moreover, ASK representative met and interviewed the local people and journalists regarding the incident.

Representative from ASK met the family members of the victim and collected information regarding the incident. During December 2025, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) actively monitored and documented human rights violations across the country, taking 27 cases into consideration. In the process of fact-finding, ASK maintained direct contact with survivors and the family members of the victims. Additional information was gathered through engagement with journalists, local administration officials and community members. As part of its intervention efforts, ASK sent one urgent communication to the concerned authorities, calling for immediate and appropriate action in a case involving alleged medical negligence. In parallel, ASK continued its legal advocacy work, with two cases listed for hearing before the Bangladesh Supreme Court during the month. ASK has contacted 17 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance. Moreover, ASK has contacted to the family members of 6 victims of enforced disappearance and collected information regarding the children of the victims.

In November 2025, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) contacted 15 survivors of torture and their family members to collect primary information for legal and advocacy support. During this period, ASK also gathered follow-up information on cases previously filed in court. In addition, ASK contacted the family members of 8 victims of enforced disappearance and collected relevant information regarding their children. ASK documented and assessed 20 incidents of human rights violations and collected detailed information related to these cases. As part of this process, ASK communicated with survivors, family members, journalists, local administrations and community members to verify facts and gather comprehensive data. Furthermore, 7 Public Interest Litigation (PIL) cases filed by ASK were listed for hearing before the High Court Division during this period.
