The court also gave penalty of fine for 50,000 taka and 6 months rigorous imprisonment in failure of payment of the fine.<\/p>\n<p>The convicted are Rahima Khatun, Masura Khatun, Abdur Rashid and Abdul Jalil of MahmudmpurBadampur village of Satkhira Sadar Upazila.\u00a0 The court also acquitted one accused named Ashraful Islam.<\/p>\n<p>It has been known from case documents that on 2 January 2010, the accused persons trafficked Rupali dasi, the daughter of the Gita Rani in lure of work.\u00a0 Later on, they sold them to a brothel of Mumbai, India.\u00a0 Ruapli communicated with her mother through mobile from there and asked to rescue her. Gita Rani filed a case in this regard. Gita Rani also sought legal assistance from Sodesh-Satkhira<sup>1<\/sup> through it\u2019s ASK legal aid programme. Adv.
