Even though many women and girls have been victims of different forms of gender-based violence, very few of them speak up or seek help. In majority cases, this is because of the social stigma and lack of knowledge about the available services.<\/p>\n
In order to give a space where the survivors of gender-based violence can share their issues and get information according to their choice of services, a Court Help Desk was formed by ASTHA project at District Judge Court, Jamalpur.<\/p>\n

This Court Help Desk will be operated by a female Legal Support Officer, who will be helping the survivors get information about different multi-sectoral public services and will also refer to the service providers as per the choice of service of the survivors.<\/p>\n
In the inauguration ceremony, the District Judge, Mr. Saydur Rahman Khan; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam; Joint District Judge, Md.
