{"id":20160,"date":"2021-04-13T09:40:50","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T03:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.askbd.org\/ask\/?p=20160"},"modified":"2022-05-16T12:05:09","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T06:05:09","slug":"one-arrested-over-raping-blackmailing-housewife-in-narail-new-age","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.askbd.org\/ask\/2021\/04\/13\/one-arrested-over-raping-blackmailing-housewife-in-narail-new-age\/","title":{"rendered":"One arrested over raping, blackmailing housewife in Narail ~New Age"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Published: 13 April 2021, New Age<br \/>\nLink: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newagebd.net\/article\/135239\/one-arrested-over-raping-blackmailing-housewife-in-narail\">One arrested over raping, blackmailing housewife in Narail<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>A youth was arrested on Sunday for allegedly raping a housewife at village Kalinagar of Narail Sadar upazila and also filming the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested was identified as Fahad Molla.<\/p>\n<p>According to police sources, the victim was gang raped by Imran Mollah, Mamun Sheikh and Fahad Mollah of the village.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, they recorded the incident on a mobile phone and used it to blackmail the victim later.<\/p>\n<p>When the perpetrators wanted to establish a physical relationship with the scared victim again in an attempt to take advantage of her silence, the victim went to the local Matabbars for justice.<\/p>\n<p>After seeing no other alternatives, the victim went to the police station on Sunday and filed two cases. Later police conducted a special operation to catch the criminals and managed to arrest Fahad Molla.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, a police headquarters report said 26,695 rape cases had been filed across the country in the last five years.<\/p>\n<p>Ain o Salish Kendra data shows that 1,018 children were raped last year alone, but only 683 police cases were filed.
