Among these, 21 were family cases, 9 were related to violence against women and children, and 1 was a criminal case. ASK lawyers actively carried out necessary appearances, hearings, submissions, follow-ups, and witness examinations to ensure justice for victims. In addition, 3 new cases were taken up during the month. In August 2025, 5 PIL (Public Interest Litigations) cases of ASK were in the cause list of High Court Division for hearing. The Lawyer of ASK has taken steps accordingly. Moreover, ASK filed 2 cases in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The initiative is part of \u201cEngageNow\u201d, a project implemented by ASK with support from the Embassy of Switzerland and Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
