In the process of fact-finding, ASK maintained direct contact with survivors and the family members of the victims. Additional information was gathered through engagement with journalists, local administration officials and community members. As part of its intervention efforts, ASK sent one urgent communication to the concerned authorities, calling for immediate and appropriate action in a case involving alleged medical negligence. In parallel, ASK continued its legal advocacy work, with two cases listed for hearing before the Bangladesh Supreme Court during the month. ASK has contacted 17 victims of torture and their family members to collect primary information for assistance.
