She has also held various roles as a member of ASK\u2019s executive committees. In addition, she served for a long time as the Regional Director of ARTICLE 19 Bangladesh and South Asia, where she played a key role in expanding the organisation\u2019s activities, as well as in policy formulation and implementation. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under her leadership, several important initiatives have been implemented, including strengthening the right to information, advocating for the review and reform of the Digital Security Act and promoting a safe environment for online freedom of expression. Throughout her career, she has led major projects supported by various international organisations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In recognition of her outstanding contributions to human rights, she was awarded the MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) by the United Kingdom in 2017. She also received the prestigious Franco-German Prize in 2016 for her contributions to human rights and the rule of law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In her academic life, Tahmina Rahman was awarded a research fellowship from the Harvard School of Public Health. She obtained her Master degree in Laws from the University of London and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Dhaka.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) expresses its expectation that Tahmina Rahman\u2019s extensive experience, wisdom and leadership will further strengthen the organisation\u2019s efforts in protecting human rights, ensuring justice
