As part of its fact-finding process, ASK maintained direct communication with survivors and the family members of victims. Additional information was gathered through engagement with journalists, local administration officials and community members to ensure accuracy and contextual understanding of the incidents. ASK contacted 14 survivors of torture and their family members to collect primary information for support and assistance. ASK also continued follow-up on previously filed cases by collecting updated information related to ongoing legal proceedings. Furthermore, ASK reached out to the families of 15 victims of enforced disappearance to document information concerning the condition and well-being of their children. In March 2026, a total of 5 cases handled by ASK were listed for hearing before the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
