{"id":27583,"date":"2026-05-07T17:13:37","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T11:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.askbd.org\/ask\/?p=27583"},"modified":"2026-05-07T17:14:39","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T11:14:39","slug":"vacancy-announcement-monitoring-evaluation-accountability-and-learning-meal-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.askbd.org\/ask\/2026\/05\/07\/vacancy-announcement-monitoring-evaluation-accountability-and-learning-meal-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: <\/strong><strong>Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No of Vacancy: 01<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description \/ Responsibility <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must be acquainted with the system of progress, monitoring, result-based monitoring, logical framework, operational plan, and other MIS Monitoring tools.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for leading the M&amp;E and reporting system of the Project of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK);<\/li>\n<li>Develop different types of formats, M&amp;E tools, techniques and framework, monthly, quarterly and yearly plans;<\/li>\n<li>Tracking progress on activities compared to the operational plan and targets and indicators;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monitoring reports based on field monitoring;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit report to the donor, partners and ASK related to project progress and logical framework matrix;<\/li>\n<li>Visit working areas to monitor project initiatives and provide feedback to the concerned management in the working districts of the project;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain records of program and project data, lessons learned, case stories and best practices and share with all concerned;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and ensure implementation and maintenance of project databases and maintain a functional physical document management system at the district level;<\/li>\n<li>Give comments and feedback on proposed method for baseline and end-line survey and evaluation\/assessment submitted by external consultant\/firm;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to supervise the whole process of survey, study, evaluation and assessment conducted by external resource person\/firm;<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Nature:<\/strong> Full-time \/ Contractual<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Master&#8217;s in Social Science (Economics, Development Studies, Women and Gender Studies, Public Administration, Statistics) with good academic records.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At least 3 years of experience in the following areas: design and implementation of project monitoring (qualitative and quantitative), documentation, reporting and writing, data analysis, and capacity building of PNGO staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age at most 40 years<\/li>\n<li>The applicants should have experience in the NGO sector and in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>Good relationship and networking with media partners for effective collaborations to meet the organisation\u2019s objectives<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in building individual and organizational capacity in program implementation.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of partnership management will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant should have good computer knowledge, especially in Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel frequently across the project areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> BDT 42,000 &#8211; 44,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Dhaka, with extensive field visits in six working districts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reference:<\/strong> Minimum two references<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are requested to send their CV and cover letter to Executive Director of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), 2\/16 Block # B, Lalmatia, Dhaka, through this email: <strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@askbd.org\">recruitment@askbd.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFemale candidates are encouraged to apply\u201d.
