ASK express grave concern on the incident and strongly protest such a heinous act.<\/p>\n<p>The online version of different news agencies reported that on June 26, 2011 two house wives have been inhumanly tortured in a village arbitration that took place at Rajarampur Union in Badargonj Upozila of Rangpur District. Today, on July 11, 2011 the assistants of local U.P. Chairman confined and attacked the journalists of Ekushey Television as they went to visit the place. Such attacks will severely injure the freedom of press and freedom of opinion. Such extra judicial punishment in the name fatwa is a serious violation of human rights and it has constrained the implementation of the apex court\u2019s judgment against the same.
