At least 3 died in the clash. Many houses were burnt. After the incident the local administration has enforced Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at Ramgor and Manikchhori.<\/p>\n<p>In the circumstances, we call upon both indegenous and Bengali communities to show utmost restraint and patience. We also urge the government to take immediate and effective measures giving topmost priority to the existing situation in the Chittagong Hill Track and to take appropriate steps towards speedy implementation of the peace accord. At the same time, we demand adequate compensation for the victims of this occurance.
