Ain o Shalish Kendra expresses deep concern over the safety of the Bangladeshi expatriate living in Libya after violence had broken out in different cities such as Tripoli, Bengazi of the Northern African Countries on demanding the resignation of its president Muammar Gaddafi.<\/p>\n
The family of the Bengalis living in Libya is praying for their family members at this moment. They are hoping that the prime minister will take necessary steps to bring their family back to home. All the countries of the world are giving priority to the issue of evacuating nationals from Libya and ensuring their security as one of the topmost priority according to the information collected from National Dailies. We appreciate the Governments initiative to seek the cooperation, of Egypt, Tunisia, and International Organization for Migration and international committee for Red Cross to repatriate the Bangladeshi citizens from Libya. The above mentioned organization and countries are scrambling to meet the basic needs of the expatriate workers. But many of the Bangladeshi workers do not have any legal documents which have given rise to another issue of sending them back to Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
Under the above mentioned circumstances, ASK urges the Government of giving utmost priority to take effective steps to bring back the Bangladeshi people, including those who do not have legal documents, and also to ensure their security from the violence hit northern African country. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
