The eviction drive started on 23 February, Tuesday at 1pm.<\/p>\n<p>Upon hearing of the writ Petition of ASK and BLAST, the High Court Division, comprising Justice Momtazuddin and Justice Naima Haider issued a Stay Order on 4 February 2010 to ensure prior and effective rehabilitation of slum dwellers of Shahidertek basti before taking any step for their eviction from that area.<\/p>\n<p>We believe, continuation of this eviction drive despite the High Court Stay Order, is a clear Contempt of Court.
