ASK filed a Public Interest Litigation on the eviction of 14 Hindu Families at Taltoli upazilla, Barguna district
which took place on 12 March 2015. The High Court gave following directions:

1. Issued rule to the government for furnishing reasons as to why failure of Police will not be declared as
illegal and legal actions will not be taken against Police.

2. To establish a Police Check-post at Chandantala Village,Taltoli upazilla, Barguna district;

3. Directed the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barguna to conduct Judicial Inquiry on the eviction of 14 Hindu Families at Taltoli and submit report including Police initiatives to the Court within 30 days;
