The Bangladesh government has again taken a protective stance regarding the implementation of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) recommendations aimed at improving the country's human rights situation. On November 13, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) conducted its fourth review of the implementation status of Bangladesh's obligations to promote, protect and respect human rights within the UPR framework.
