Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) organized a discussion meeting on the need for legislation to prevent and ensure remedies for sexual harassment and policy changes in this regard on January 9, 2025, at CIRDAP Auditorium. The chairperson of ASK and the senior lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Advocate Z. I. Khan, gave a welcome speech at the meeting. ASK Senior Coordinator Abu Ahmed Faizul Kabir moderated the meeting. A total of 45 participants attended the meeting. The Project Coordinator gave a keynote presentation on the ongoing picture of Sexual Harassment and Gender-based Violence and the current status of relevant legislation to prevent sexual harassment and gender-based violence.
