In August 2026, ASK conducted a fact-finding and collected information in the matter of four murders in Rangpur. Retired Rangpur Zilla School teacher Ganapati Chakraborty and his three other family members were found murdered in their home. (Read the fact-finding report) Representatives from ASK met and interviewed the victim’s family, police, local people and journalists regarding the incident. Moreover, ASK representatives interviewed the families of the two individuals detained on suspicion in connection with this incident. ASK has sent an observation report to the media regarding the incident as ASK conducted a fact-finding on it.
