During August 2026, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) continued to provide legal representation to victims and individuals seeking legal assistance. ASK lawyers represented clients in family, violence against women and children, criminal and other cases before the courts.

During the month, court dates were scheduled for 230 ongoing cases, including 218 family cases, 6 cases related to violence against women and children, and 2 criminal cases. ASK lawyers took various legal and procedural steps in these cases, including conducting proceedings in ongoing cases, appearing before the courts, attending hearings, examining and cross-examining witnesses, presenting arguments, and pursuing necessary legal follow-up. In addition, 4 new cases were filed during the month.
