A 3 day long Residential Training Course for Manobadhikar Ainjibi Parishod (MAP) was held at RRF, Jessore from 28-30 May 2015. 15 lawyers from 5 different districts (Jhenaidha, Kushtia, Pabna,  Joypurhat and Naogaon) participated in the discussion on Human Rights Lawyering, Determination of the identity of a lawyer as a person in the society, as a citizen of a state, differences between a lawyer and a HR lawyer, role of a HR lawyer, discriminatory provisions of Family Laws of BD etc. At the end of the training, the participants expressed their pledge to act as a Human Rights lawyer.
