ASK React After Acquittal of BSF Soldier

Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) strongly reacts over the acquittal of accused BSF soldier for the murder of Felani who was shot dead in India-Bangladesh border.

According to different media reports, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi girl on 7 January 2011 and the accused BSF soldier is recently declared as acquitted through the trial process.  The BSF General Security Forces Court acquitted Amiya Ghosh, the accused for the murder of Felani, on 6 September 2013. Ain o Salish Kendra considers that the mentioned verdict didn’t reflect proper justice and this unexpected verdict will encourage the reckless killing of Bangladeshis in the border area.

Ain o Salish Kendra expects that the concerned authority will play the necessary role for the appeal process in the higher court for delivery of justice and Bangladesh Government will take serious diplomatic measures to end the border killings immediately.
