Background              He was known to be a ”regional leader” of an outlaw group, Gono Muhti Fouj (GMF).
He was accused of a triple murder case of Ambaria Union Parishad Chairman Nurul
Islam and two of his assistants.

He was also allegedly accused of seven other cases of murder, extortion
and abduction.
Case  Summary          According to Rab personnel, Ahmed Naimul Hassan, Commander of RAB 12 and
also ASP in Kushtia.
RAB raided Char Sadipur at around 5:00am, as they had been
tipped off about a secret meeting there.

Apparently the gang opened fire on Rab personnel so they ”returned the fire”.

RAB personnel found ”Tofa’s” bullet ridden body at the spot.

They also found five light guns, two bullets and five machetes left by the gang.
