(1) Father died of heart attack following the arrest of his son by the police (Nayadiganta 1.1.14).

(2) Jubodal (Opposition Party Afiliated) leader shot dead by BGB (Prothom Alo: 2.1.14).

(3) 15 people died at police shootings on the 10th National election.

(4) One person died in Police Chase (Samakal 7.2.14).

(5) Shah Alam’s (40) family complained that he had been tortured and thrown off a building by policemen (Prothom Alo 4.3.14)

(6) Ziaul Huq Komal, Chatra League and Hasan Ali Sardar (65) Both Died in police chases (Samakal- 7.2.14 and 11.3.14)

(7) Ayub Ali (55), Jamaat activist Died of a Heart Stroke after being chased by Police (Samakal & Naya Diganta 12.3.14)

(8) Ripon Majhi (26) and Selim Patwari were shot dead by police during Upazila Elections (Prothom Alo- 29.3.14 & 16.3.14)
