ASK’s Rejoinder: News of Federation of Bangladesh Human Rights Organizations (FBHRO) meets BNP chairperson

The news published in some print, online and electronic media on Federation of Bangladesh Human Rights Organizations (FBHRO) meets BNP chairperson in the evening of Sunday, 15 February 2015 has come to our notice.

We strongly denounce the news and confirm that, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is not a member of Federation of Bangladesh Human Rights Organizations (FBHRO). We also want to confirm that, no one from ASK went to meet BNP chairperson on 15 February 2015 evening.

ASK hopes that Media would be more careful in checking the authenticity of any news before publishing. We also urge the Federation of Bangladesh Human Rights Organizations (FBHRO) to clarify this matter through a public statement.
