Gender and Social Justice Unit of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK)​ organis​ed a workshop titled “Implementation of HR Standards and Role ​of HRDs” ​from 17 to 19 February 2016 at Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE), Mohammadpur, Dhaka w​here human rights defenders from ​grassroots level were gathered.

Workshop on Implementation of International HR ​S​tand​ards ​and ​R​ole of HRDs

 
As human rights defenders, women are playing active roles at grassroots level through the ​community based organis​ation named Manobadhikar Nari Somaj (MNS). In this​ workshop,​ the women defenders ​discussed on their​ responsibilities as member​s​ of MNS and finali​s​ed strategies to overcome difficulties they are facing​.

Manobadhikar Ainjibi Parishod’s (MAP)​ members were ​also present at this workshop. Sultana Kamal, the Executive Director of Ain o Salish Kendra  was present at this workshop and emphasised on effective engagement with the community people.
