Human Rights Defenders Forum (HRDF), with the support of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) organised a rally and discussion meeting on the morning of 31 January, 2019, in Fotepur Gazironnesa Girls School, Moheshpur, Jhenaidah.

The discussion meeting was chaired by the school headmaster, Abul Kalam Azad, (Jhenaidah), where the HRDF President, Abdur Rahman, shared his opinion as the Chief Guest of the event. Panel Chairman of Fotepur Union, Nowshan Ali; UP member, Nazrul Islam; Former UP member, Bacchu Mia; Assistant teacher, Oli Ullah, Laboni Akter, Sampa Khatun, Rupa Akter, and Romana Khatun Promukh, were present in the discussion as special guests. The speakers expressed their concern regarding increase of rape incidents of children and women throughout the country, and have urged everyone to jointly stand up against rape.
