Flashback to the preparatory sessions held on 18 February and 19 February 2024, where young leaders gathered to gear up for the ‘Children Mock Universal Periodic Review (UPR)’ event! It was organized by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), Secretariat of the Child Rights Advocacy Coalition in Bangladesh (CRAC, B) and supported by the European Union, Plan International Bangladesh and Educo Bangladesh.

Before the ‘Children Mock UPR’ event, held on 28 February at CIRDAP, our passionate child rights advocates had two insightful preparatory meetings. These sessions were about empowering children to advocate for their rights and how they should take on roles as state representatives and government bodies to replicate the UPR Working Group Session.
The sessions were facilitated by Abu Zafor Mohammed Hossain, Technical Specialist- Child Led Advocacy, (Save the Children in Bangladesh), SK. Rahamat Ullah Rumi, Manager- Child Participation and Social Accountability (Save the Children in Bangladesh), Tamanna Hoq Riti, Coordinator (ASK), and Santa Islam, Project Officer (ASK).
