Vacancy Announcement: Intern

Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is hiring for a position of Internship under the “Civil Society Organisations advancing child rights activism through the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) mechanism in Bangladesh” project.

Job Context

  • Position: Intern, (CSOs advancing child rights activism through the UPR and the UNCRC mechanism in Bangladesh Project)
  • Reporting to Project Coordinator
  • Post Type: Full time

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist project team members in organizing events;
  • Management with document preparation and review;
  • Support in drafting project reports and other relevant documents;
  • Attend workshops, seminars, dialogues, meetings (both online and offline) and other events;
  • Support in translating documents;
  • Assist in developing handouts, outlines, concept notes etc.
  • Travelling outside Dhaka, visiting working area or field for project purposes if required;

Employment Status: Contractual

Selection Criteria
Applicant must have a University degree or equivalent qualification in sociology, gender studies, political science, international relations, economics, development studies or legal studies and human rights or other closely related subjects in social sciences;
Excellent command of Bangla and English language, both oral and written;
Proficient in ICT skills and tools– familiarity with using Google Suite, meeting tools like ZOOM, Skype, and design tools like Canva and Adobe.

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary: Tk. 10000 (Monthly)
