Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) organized a discussion meeting on “Cyber-based sexual harassment and gender-based violence remediation” with the Cyber Crime Unit of the DB Police Office on 17 December 2024 under the ASK-BRAC collaboration and European Union-funded project, – , – (Agnee Project). The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner of DB Cyber and Special Crime Division Mr. Mohiuddin Mahmud, ADC Mr. Mohammad Rakib Khan, 27 police officers from different levels of the concerned department, and Advocate Fatema Rashid Hasan, Secretary General, ASK, Asma Khanom Ruba, Project Coordinator, AGNEE Project and other staffs from the Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) had participated in the meeting. The meeting discussed the importance of sharing experiences on cyber-based sexual harassment, identifying challenges to prevent and remedy it, and developing integrated solutions.
