Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) organised a series of bi-monthly coordination meetings to strengthen human rights promotion, women’s empowerment and child protection. These meetings brought together members from the Youth Girls Group (YGG), Manobadhikar Nari Porishodh (MNP) and Manobadhikar Songrokkhon Porishodh (MSP) initiatives. A total of 53 meetings were held across Union and Thana levels in 5 districts, engaging 671 participants: 65 from YGG, 298 from MNP and 308 from MSP. During these sessions, participants reviewed the progress of ongoing programs, discussed regional challenges and coordinated future action plans to enhance human rights protection, promote women’s empowerment and prevent online and offline sexual abuse of children and women. Participants also shared insights, planned campaigns, rallies and online initiatives, all aimed at fostering a gender-sensitive, just and inclusive society. Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is implementing the EngageNow project under the Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF) programme, with support from the Embassy of Switzerland and Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
