Through the EngageNow project, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) has been representing victims and legal aid seekers in court. This month, on behalf of the victims, court dates were scheduled for cases related to family matters, violence against women and children and criminal offences. In these cases, ASK lawyers took necessary steps, including appearances, hearings, follow-ups and examination of witnesses. During this month, 3 new cases were filed on behalf of victims. The total number of cases handled was 246, including 213 family cases, 22 cases of violence against women and children and 11 criminal cases.
