Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) organized a Coordination Meeting with Civil Society Organization (CSO)s, group members of children, youth and change agents under Speak Up project on 24 June 2026 at Jafrabad, Rayer Bazar, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. This event provided with technical assistance by Terre des Hommes Netherlands and funded by the European Union. Total 27 participants were participated the meeting, who were members of children & youth, change agent and CSO members with community leaders and representatives. Main objectives of the event were to Increase networking among civil society network members at the working area of Mohammadpur. Strengthen collaboration between CSOs, service providers to provide specialized services for children and youth victims of online sexual exploitation and abuse (OSEA) and rights violations, sharing the progress in CSOs’ organizational capacity development, children and youth engagement. Discuss experiences and challenges regarding online safety and fundamental rights of children and youth, including gender equality. All participated in the meeting and exchanged experiences and views on child and youth online safety, fundamental rights, existing challenges, and opportunities for joint initiatives. The discussion emphasized strengthening coordination among CSOs, establishing effective referral mechanisms, promoting gender equality, ensuring meaningful participation of children and young people, building a safe and inclusive digital environment. All committed to identify and report the children at risk or such violence to Children and follow up skillfully and effectively for the next meetings. In the meeting, Project Coordinator Asma Khanom Ruba presented a brief overview of the project’s objectives, activities and progress. They expressed their gratitude for organizing such a meaningful event to increase connections with children and youth groups and understanding of the protection system, as well as increased capacity to self-organize and initiate activities and promote a safer digital future for all.
