In July 2026, 11 Bi- Monthly courtyard meetings were held among Manobadhikar NARI Parishad (MNP) and Manab Pragati Sangha (MPS), Organization for Women`s Development in Bangladesh (OWDEB) and Society of Development and Education for Small Households (SoDESH). These meetings organised in Tangail, Chattogram and Satkhira engaged 166 female participants included 1 person with disability. The discussion focused on recent violence against women, child protection, trafficking and child marriage, with particular concern over reported sexual violence against a schoolgirl in Satkhira. Members highlighted the need for stronger community awareness, timely reporting, coordinated action and collective efforts to prevent violence and protect women and children. These events helped union-level participants to strengthen women’s leadership, coordination, and collective action on human rights and gender-based violence.
