Young Voices, Powerful Stories: BINAD Promotes Child Rights Through Theatre

In July 2026, three BINAD activities engaged 127 participants (63 male, 64 female) in total. MPS conducted a study session student at Bagbari Chowbaria High School at Tangail, focusing on child protection, gender-based violence, child marriage and human rights through interactive theatre. The workshop with Society of Development and Education for Small Households (SoDESH) workshop with strengthened drama production, teamwork and rehearsal skills, while fostering collaboration. ASK also provided assistance on 19, 20, 21, and 22 July 2026 in organising workshops on drama production in Barisal, in collaboration with AVAS, at Mathuranath Public School, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Secondary School, and Syeda Majidunnesa Secondary School. Together, the activities encouraged youth-led theatre, peer awareness and advocacy for child protection and gender equality.

These activities were implemented under the EngageNow project, part of the Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF) programme, with support from the Embassy of Switzerland, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and European Union (EU).
