Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) welcomes Government’s decision for six- months maternity leave.

According to the online versions of several newspapers, the Government has published a gazette notification on six-months maternity leave for the public servants.

We believe, this is a remarkable decision in favour of the advancement of the women of the country. It is also a remarkable achievement for the women rights movement.

We want to see the Government to take adequate measure to implement this for every working woman.
