Ain o Shalish Kendro (ASK) is expressing deep concern and condemnation at the incident of torturing a Bangladeshi youth after stripping him off, by Indian Border Security Force (BSF).

Bangladeshi as well as International human rights organizations have for a long time been demanding an end to the torture of innocent people by BSF. Despite repeated assurances of BSF, such acts of barbaric torture in the borders have not stopped. Since one decade, nearly 1 thousand Bangladeshis have succumbed to BSF firings, and countless incidents of torture have occurred.

ASK is calling upon an effective diplomatic initiative from Bangladesh government and demanding appropriate trial of the BSF members in order to stop the torture committed in the borders.
