Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is expressing deep condolence at the murder of Golam Mustafa Sarowar, News Editor of Maasranga Television and Meherun Runi, Senior Reporter of ATN Bangla.

According to several media sources, Golam Mustafa Sarowar, News Editor, Maasranga Television and Meherun Runi,Senior Reporter, ATN Bangla were brutally murdered by miscreants at their own flat on the night of 11th February 2012.We believe the premature death of the journalist couple is undoubtedly an irreparable loss for the media as well as for the whole nation. We hope, the culprits will be brought under law, through a fair investigation of the incident.

We express our respect in their memories, praying for eternal peace of their souls and express profound sympathy for the bereaved families.
