Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is expressing deep condolence at the death of 300 Prisoners in a massive fire, at Comayagua prison in Honduras.

According to the newspaper sources, the fire began late on 14 February night at the prison in Comayagua, Honduras. In the fire, almost 300 prisoners have died and injured many more.

We express profound sympathy for the bereaved families of the dead prisoners. We also hope that the concern authority will take effective steps through a fair investigation to prevent this type of accident.
