Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is expressing deep condolence at the death of Faiz Ahmed, the veteran journalist, cultural activist and first chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.

Faiz Ahmed died on 20 February around 5 am. He participated actively in our liberation war and other democratic movements. At the incidence of his death, our country has lost a progressive and secular personality and the journalist community has lost one of their guardian.

We express our respect in his memories, praying for eternal peace of his souls and express profound sympathy for the bereaved family.
