Madaripur Brothel | Contempt Case Rule Filed Against Those Who Failed to Protect Evictees

The Contempt Notice Rule was issued against those responsible for not taking action on the 19th of November 2013.

ASK had applied for an extension for the sex workers to continue to earn their living, the sudden eviction has left the women unable to fulfill their basic monetary needs. ASK are currently advocating a case against the vested interests of business men, political leaders and religious leaders who were behind the brutal eviction.

A Notice of Contempt was sent to those who failed to take action during the illegal eviction of Madaripur Brothel.
