  • Two Journalists have been murdered this Quarter in 2014
  1.  Mr. Shah Alam –  Sagor (40) the journalist of by monthly newspaper “Oporadhad Domon”                died due to police torture (Reported in Prothom Alo 4.3.14)
  2. The Daily Samachar’s Journalist Delowar Hossain (42)  Murdered by Random Attacker  (Reported in Samakal 29.3.14)
  • 30 Journalists have faced threats from the ruling party (Awami League) and its affiliate party.
