ASK Strongly Condemns Continued Barbaric Air-Attacks on Palestine

Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) expresses concern and condemns continued Israeli air attack on Palestine, in which hundreds of people have lost their lives.

Various national and international news sources report, it has been known that Israel has continued its air attack on Gaza valley since 8 July 2014. 159 people have died in this attack so far. Although Israel claims this attack to be against the “terrorists” of HAMAS, most of the casualties in the attack were civilians, especially women and children. It has also been known through the news media that, although a cease fire was proposed by the UN Security Council on Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu hinted not to oblige that.  It was published in the media reports that Israel may also begin their ground operations soon.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has urged Israel to immediately stop its attack targeting civilians. She also expressed her concern that Israel may be making an example of violation of International Law.

Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) strongly condemns this barbaric attack on Gaza Valley by Israel and urges all nations and international organizations to raise their voice against this matter. We strongly urge the Government of Bangladesh to take effective diplomatic measures at international level to pressurize Israel to stop the atrocity at Gaza.
