Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) expresses deep condolence over the death of famous composer and lyricist Gobindo Haldar.

Gobindo Haldar died on 17 January 2015 morning at Jitandranath Hospital in Calcutta. He was of 86 years old at the time of death. He was the creator of many patriotic songs which inspired freedom fighters during liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971. He was born at Jessore district and also served as an employee of income tax office.

The death of Gobinda Haldar is surely very painful for us. We wish peace for the departed soul and express commiseration for his family.
