‘To prevent Gender-based Violence, We all are united’ – with this commitment, ASTHA project ofAin o Salish Kendra(ASK) has launched a 360-degree campaign to observe the 16 days of activism againstgender-based violence at its four project districts – Bogura, Cox’s Bazar, Jamalpur, and Patuakhali.In this 16 days long campaign there are a total of 24 events including online discussion sessionswith multi-sectoral and CSOs, awareness-raising folk song (Baul Song) at the community, radio livetalk show, essay writing, debate, and painting competition with the youth groups, discussionsessions with transport workers to prevent violence against women at the public transports,discussion session with media representatives on producing gender-sensitive report writing.Besides the general mass, these campaign activities will engage different stakeholders, includingmulti-sectoral departments, civil society organizations, donors, Kishore-Kishori club, schoolstudents, teachers, local chairman, religious leaders, and media.
ASTHA project is implementing by Ain o Salish Kendra with technical support from UNFPA andfunding from Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
