Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), through its Litigation Unit, continues to provide legal representation for victims and individuals seeking justice. In April 2025, a total of 240 cases were scheduled for court hearings, involving family disputes, violence against women and children, and criminal matters. ASK’s panel lawyers undertook necessary legal procedures throughout the month, including court appearances, hearings, follow-ups, and witness examinations. Of the total cases, 219 were related to family disputes, 14 involved violence against women and children, and 7 were criminal cases.
