Through its Litigation Unit, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) has been conducting court cases on behalf of victims and individuals seeking legal assistance. In favor of the victims, ASK handled cases related to family matters, violence against women and children, and criminal offenses. In July 2025, court dates were scheduled for a total of 281 cases. Family cases: 259; Violence against women and children cases: 15; Criminal cases: 7. In these cases, ASK’s lawyers undertook necessary appearances, hearings, follow-ups, legal steps, and witness cross-examinations. In July 2025, 7 PIL (Public Interest Litigations) cases of ASK were in the cause list of the High Court Division for hearing. The Lawyer of ASK has taken steps accordingly.
