উপরোক্ত বিবেচনায় আদালতের সুচিন্তিত অভিমত এই যে, গ্রেফতারকৃত ব্যক্তিদের আদালতে উপস্থাপনের পূর্বেই গণমাধ্যমের সামনে উপস্থাপন এবং কোন মামলা তদন্ত চলাকালীনসময়ে তদন্ত বিষয়ে কতটুকু তথ্য গণমাধ্যমের সামনে প্রকাশ করা সমিচীন হবে সে সম্পের্কে একটি নীতিমালা অতিদ্রুততার সাথে প্রনয়ন করা বাঞ্ছনীয়। এই নীতিমালা প্রণয়ন ও যথাযথভাবে অনুসরনের জন্য সচিব, জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগ/ সুরক্ষা বিভাগ, স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় এবং মহা পরিদর্শক, পুলিশ-কে নির্দেশ প্রদান করা হলো।
